Privacy policy
Stemwise is a small business run by Wren Calloway. This page says, in plain words, what we collect when you use getstemwise.com, why, who else handles it, and how to have it removed. Questions go to hello@getstemwise.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you type it into one of our forms. We store it with the page you signed up on, the site that referred you (the site name only, never the full address) and the time.
- What you build in a free tool, only if you ask us to email it to you. The figures on screen are sent with your address so the email can show your own plan.
- A shared wedding estimate, only if you press “Share this estimate”. We store the arrangement names, stem counts and any label you type, so the link works for whoever you send it to. Don’t put anything in the label you wouldn’t want that person to read.
- Purchase details if you buy a Founding Grower spot: your email, the amount and Stripe’s order reference. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Email you send us, so we can read it and reply.
- Anonymous usage events: which page was viewed, which button was pressed, and the referring site name. These are not tied to your name or email, and we do not store your IP address with them.
What we don’t do
- No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics scripts.
- We don’t sell or rent your address to anyone.
- Your farm data in the live demo and the free tools is saved in your browser (local storage). It does not reach our servers unless you choose to email or share it.
Who else handles it
Three companies process data on our behalf, each only for the job named:
- Google Cloud / Firebase hosts the site and stores the records above. Like any web host, its servers keep standard request logs (including IP addresses) for a limited period.
- Resend sends and receives our email.
- Stripe takes payments.
Why, and the legal basis
We use your email to send what you asked for and, if you signed up for the waitlist, to tell you about a founding spot (your consent). We use purchase details to deliver what you paid for and keep the records the law requires (performance of a contract, legal obligation). Anonymous usage events help us see which pages are useful (our legitimate interest in running the site).
How long we keep it
Waitlist addresses stay until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist closes. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Shared estimates stay until you ask us to delete the link.
Your choices
- Stop the emails: reply “stop” to any message from us.
- See, correct or delete your data: write to hello@getstemwise.com from the address in question. A person reads that inbox and handles each request by hand.
- If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
